Mist on the river

Coldest morning run to Littleport so far this term (semester). Temp varied between 4 and 2 deg C (39.2 - 35.6 F). No wind and a clear sky, ideal conditions for layers of mist to form at various levels.

This is the river Great Ouse, winding its way (to my right) north to King's Lynn and the sea. The picnic area is deserted, not surprising given the time (07:20) and season, the nearby main road, the A10, is busy with commuter traffic.

To appreciate the location look at the map, satellite view is best, I hasten to add the snack bar is towed there and had not yet arrived so no hot roadside breakfast for me.

The notice attached to the table warns of "Operation Traverse" which is targeting illegal fishing, more HERE
