Cordwood Landing

Since today was a bank holiday I took the day off. I slept in a little and got some chores done. I went for a hike at the county park near my house.  I have blipped this place before. The hike brings you over the bluffs with views of Long Island Sound and it continues down to the beach. It was a beautiful day and I could feel the warmth of the sun  when I reached the beach. I was hoping for a bit more autumn color in the woods, but it seems some places have it more than others.
