Jacaranda season
Not the best for hay fever sufferers but the lilac/purple blooms make for a spectacular display.
Not indigenous, originally from South America, but imported to Pretoria in the 1880s they have become the symbol of spring going into summer.
Another hot dry day done. The dust hangs heavy in the air, hopefully we will get our first summer downpour soon.
