Monday: Llangefni Building Work

Last night we had torrential rain just before bedtime, from the West, then moved quite quickly round to the North - I could hear it beating against the windows on 3 sides of our home …
By this morning it had moved on and we had a pleasant warm and sunny day, with a gentle breeze.
MrD went off to the hills of Denbighshire on his motorbike, lots of roads were closed and he had interesting routes which he was diverted along!
I went to Lidl with a very long shopping list, calling at the garage first to put diesel in my car, at £1.89 per litre, £30 barely took the gauge up to a half tank :-(
Lidl car park had hardly any cars, the shop itself was quiet and a few gaps on the shelves too - none of my favourite coffee! :-((
Got most of the items on my list and a couple of heather plants, which I planted in larger pots this afternoon along with spring bulbs which had been abandoned in pots under the bird feeder.
Building work continues in the old wood yard, presumably ready for occupancy before too long …
