Temperature control

We keep mum's living room nice and warm with her gas fire but there's no heating on elsewhere in the house. We are going to see how long we can hold out. For lunch, thkugh, we relented for an hour to warm up the dining room. We might do the same this weekend as we have guests who are unlikely to be used to our cold ways.
