Naddel Valley

Went out straight after dropping Deb at work, as the forecast was for heavy rain later. This was down the A591 on the way to Thirlmere - the light was wonderful in the foreground even though Helvellyn was lost in the clouds. Autumn colours aren't really out yet, but the trees are just showing signs of turning; it'll be another three weeks until they're fully out. By the time I reached Thirlmere the quality of light had gone and it was just thick cloud. 

This afternoon was pretty wet (again) - no flooding, but water levels are pretty high.
