Preparing for the parade

I’ve volunteered at Winchester City Mill today.

As I approached the mill I passed four policemen waiting for a parade. I stopped and looked as they were all wearing gowns and I thought that it might be the mayor. It wasn’t and I think that the parade marked the start of the legal year. It’s a poor photo as it was taken through the gates.

It was a good morning session at the mill.

HtP met me for lunch at the mill. The cafe is excellent.

On returning home we walked the boys. It was a lovely sunny day.

Now I’m rather pooped after a busy weekend so I’m just sitting and knitting.
