Paris 20 km race
Beautiful light all day today. I went for a run this morning, on the other side of the Seine from the hordes of runners doing the Paris 20K race. Here they are as I headed back. There were live bands at the foot of each bridge and lots of spectators cheering the runners on.
J tinkered with his bicycle for a long time, setting up a workshop for himself in our bathroom. He went out for a "shakedown" ride this afternoon and reports that the new bike shifters are working well.
I got some soil for our window box and finished planting, did a little work and, to make the most of the afternoon light, went for a walk through Parc Sainte-Périne and over to Ch's old school which looks exactly the same.
This evening, we facetimed with our girls, my mother, sister and her family between their turkey and dessert courses of Thanksgiving dinner. It was really nice to see them together and we wish we could be with them! We are looking forward to their visits here.
A very happy Thanksgiving to family and friends in Canada, and warm thoughts to those who are missing loved ones around their tables.
