Dodging the rain
Picked today for a hill walk - it’s been so windy and wet we’ve stayed low so far. We chose Stac Pollaidh, not the biggest mountain in the area but a stand out one.
It’s not a big walk distance wise but includes some ‘interesting’ scrambling up on the rocky top - made more challenging by the gusting wind. We managed to miss the rain storms that passed by and had spectacular views around of Assynt and out to sea. Fabulous place to be, so pleased we managed to get this day.
