Familiar and Unfamiliar Territory

I wasn’t exactly sure where I was when I took this photo - probably somewhere on Calbeck common.

Earlier I had dropped L off at a party - it was a long way out to the west, so I’d planned a quick trip to see the sea in the time that I had.  I hadn’t got far before I got a call to go back and collect her.  I’m still trying to work out what the problem was - she doesn’t have the words, and I was probably less receptive than I could have been.

We were on our way back and out of a Satnav signal, so I’d pointed the car roughly south east and we end up going over here, where I grabbed this shot.

I’ve finally got round to watching The A Word.  A different story, but achingly familiar territory.
