HARVEST FESTIVAL ....

.... at St John the Divine Selsdon.
We had a lovely service today, celebrated by The Archbishop of Southwark. A beautiful decorated church ( not shown to its advantage !) The Sunday school made pictures to represent harvest, the 2 organisations present the Scouts & the Brownies had their Flags dedicated by the Bishop & we ended the service by singing the National Anthem ( the 1st time I've sung " the King" in a public space..)
There was a Harvest Lunch that followed though I didn't stay, but " A" & I had a calm lunch by the pond, it was very still. We had a treat of choc ice cream too.
We are home now , glad as it is getting cold .
