Birch Bench

Olaf posed beside one of the wooden* benches on the trail at the RSPB site near Loch Lomond. We got the place to ourselves on our late morning walk, fortunately before the rain started.

It made such a difference not being on tenterhooks in case we met any other dogs. The injury I got last Sunday when Olaf slammed against my shin seems to be even more painful a week later.

* not real wood apparently, so less likely to rot
