Lochy Falls
Whether travelling south or north, Strone Hill is a favourite stopping point for us and for the dog to stretch legs and get some fresh air as we wander through the remnants of oak woodland. The Lochy Falls were looking particularly good after the heavy rain.
We stopped again for lunch on our journey south to the Tweed Valley and arrived at our Airbnb in the late afternoon. This is a new apartment to us because, sadly, the cottage that we have rented for the past few years has been sold. I had some difficulty in finding something similar that would take dogs as self-catering properties seem to have been replaced by Airbnbs so that was the route I had to follow.
