Magnolia

Magnolia soulangeana, the saucer magnolia, is a hybrid flowering plant in the Magnolia family. It is a deciduous tree with large, early-blooming flowers in various shades of white, pink, and purple. This one is in our friend's garden at St. Vigeans, Stirling in the Adelaide Hills.
