Book group meeting

It was my turn to host the book group meeting. We read two books: The Lamplighter by Jackie Kay and The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead - both harrowing. 
We had a great evening - as is often the case we spent more time talking about all sorts of things, eating and drinking than discussing the books..
