A day of two halves

We headed down to Edinburgh this morning to attend the opening of the bothy and play area at Bridgend Farm, a project A has been involved in for nearly 7 years day.

It was great to see the work she and the other volunteers had done and the event itself was lovely. Bridgend is a great community resource. Felt really proud of A.

We then popped in to see T's dad who was on fine form.

A visit to IKEA was next as we had the car and I was looking for crafting storage solutions but nothing jumped out at me so we came away empty handed. 

We headed northwards and warning lights came & car started to loose power so we made our way to services at South Queensferry. T called Green Flag and eventually a truck came to tow car away and we are now in a taxi heading home. Not quite the Saturday night we had planned but could have been worse e.g. breaking down on motorway.
