Worsley woods fungi

A great walk in the woods with my camera this afternoon. I’d hoped there would be more autumn colours but the peak is probably a couple of weeks away. Plenty of fungi, including these, conveniently growing on a fallen tree about head height!

I had expected today’s blip to be more like the extra multi exposure of fluttering leaves. At our last photo group syllabus planning meeting I agreed to give a talk about how I use multiple exposures and intentional camera movements later in the year. To better illustrate the effects I wanted some multi exposure and long exposure shots of the same subject.

As I also walked to the woods and home to get some exercise, I did remember why I don't usually take the full camera kit and tripod out.  My shoulders definitely aren't used to the rucksack of kit at the moment!
