Durham to Hexham

We left C and her gorgeous daughter around 10.00 am and headed to Hexham in bright sunshine to do a shop in Waitrose. A very busy area, not what I was expecting. We escaped and now relaxing on a campsite in the middle of nowhere. The road system towards the place involved a long single track road and it felt strange to find a busy site. The sun is still shining luckily and we enjoyed an hours walk around the area.

This last few days was ‘make it up as you go along’, fortunately everything worked out perfectly.

Tomorrow the last two days will be with John’s brother in Cumbria.
