The shadows are getting longer.
Little Laika and I were out walking at 7.45 this morning. Nobody was about. The sun was shining and it was just wonderful. The birds were singing and she kept looking up into the trees to see where the singing was coming from. After our walk, we headed into town to have coffee. She was as good as gold, just snuggling in my lap. I dropped her off with her ‘parents’ and spent an hour in the garden digging up Iris tubers, which have slightly overtaken the garden. After lunch, I spent two hours in the cellar, getting rid of more ‘stuff’. A very productive day.
