Recreating Lowry
I was thinking about what route to take next week for the Northleach (very) mini blipmeet when I remembered a friend by chance mentioning the 'Northleach Lowry' which I had forgotten all about. It was painted in the winter of 1947, and entitled 'A Street In Northleach'. It fetched £265k in 2010. I decided to search out the location and recreate it today. OK, I failed, but L S Lowry didn't have cars and scaffolding to deal with, and he could have left them out anyway. I have cloned out a skip, but that was the limit of my Photoshop skills. I may try it again when the scaffolding has gone, and hopefully when there is some snow too.
I've added the original as a temporary extra.
