West Burton Falls
A lovely day, and we made the most of it, though neither of us felt very lively first thing after a not-very-good night's sleep. It was a mild night, and the duvet in our room was extra thick, more suitable for camping out in sub-zero temperatures than sleeping in a warm room!
After a hearty breakfast we walked the Easby Abbey Circular again, stopping at the Old Station on the way for a strong coffee. Not a particularly long walk, but very pleasant. Admired the wonderful roofscapes of Richmond (extra) on our way back through the town. After a picnic lunch in the van we went to West Burton again, and had a look at the Falls (aka Cauldron Falls) and, a short distance away, the pack horse bridge.
Finally, back to Richmond for a meal. We decided to try a relatively new restaurant that was being converted from an old bank the last time we visited. An excellent choice!
