Slavonian grebe in winter plumage

This morning we went to Burton Mere and there was great excitement as a Slavonian grebe had been seen on one of the lakes. It is the first time one has been seen there since 1990!
Luckily for us we actually saw it but It was quite a way off and this was my best effort with my 300mm lens and a hard crop!
