Talent and Passion

Meet my dad - he is holding a print of one of his latest pieces of art work. He has a real talent for painting and pastel work. I have seen the different stages of this piece of art work and seeing the finished piece makes me feel so incredibly proud and in awe of his talent. He is just beginning, at the age of 61, to make a living from his passion and talent.

I haven't posted for nearly a week due to being on residential and other reasons. Events at work over a week ago have had a much bigger impact on myself than I had realised and I am having to extra work hard to be motivated and keep my smiling enthusiastic front in place. It is these times when it is hard being on your own.

Three beautiful things:
An afternoon and evening spent enjoying the garden and the sunshine.
An alfresco glass of red wine - why does it always taste better?
A dainty silver ring which I treated myself to.

One thing to be grateful for:
Living somewhere so beautiful.
