Sweet Magnolia

Went to visit a friend in Kirton today, and decided to take her dog Archie for a walk, we was passing this fantastic old house which had this amazing Magnolia tree in the garden. Having asked permission from the lovely couple who own the house if it was ok to take a few close up photo's of their tree, we were then showed around the whole garden, was amazing and they were such a lovely friendly couple. The house they live in is thought to have been build around 1730 and they are currently renovating both the house and garden. so i have now found my self a little local history project, of trying to find out about the house and its previous occupants, i suspect a few hours possibly days in the local archives is in order :-)
