Carlisle Castle

Today I have travelled to Carlisle with R. We have some events at the Borderlines Book Festival to attend. After a rainy start to the day we had a walk up to Carlisle Castle in glorious sunshine.
We attended two events today. The first was on Foraging by Mo Wilde. A very interesting talk. Then after a very tasty supper we saw Mark Billingham who writes crime fiction at Fratry Hall (see extras). He was really funny to and totally nuts. Sadly the acoustics were poor, but great fun to listen to.
