Life through the lens...

Lemon Drops

What a lovely name for these daffodils which have just opened out today.

Warm and sunny but that cool breeze has returned.

Called at the farm shop this morning to buy some cod from the fish van, for tonight's fish curry.

They had a new cheese on the counter to try called "Just Jane"! What an intriguing name I thought!
A 2 year old mature cheddar wrapped in green wax, with a lovely strong creamy texture, and the picture of a plane on the label.

It is made by Lymn Bank Farm in Lincolnshire.
They are supporting the campaign by Lincolnshire Heritage Centre, to get their Avro Lancaster plane "Just Jane" to an air worthy condition so that one day she may return to the skies over Britain.
With every cheese purchased they will give a donation to the fund.

So I bought a piece, and had it for lunch with crusty bread and pickles. Great.

Called to see our son and daughter-in-law and wish them well for their Las Vegas trip on Tuesday.
The three generations of the family ( grandson, son, and granddad ) were glued to the TV watching Leeds! (who won, which meant that Hull get promoted, so everyone was happy!)

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend. Weather looks good for our walk tomorrow.
