Dahlias

I planted four dahlia plants. The two Crazy Loves are blooming and look better every day. 

My woodland garden attracts woodland animals. In addition to the mouse remaining, I still have a frog. I have a new bunny. The new bunny hopped all over last night. I have no evidence of destruction but it is clearly a different one from the one earlier this year, one who knows not to eat heuchera and hellebores.  

Two Russians traveled to a small island in Alaska to request asylum. They sailed 300 miles.

The websites of major Russian airports have been hacked, showing calls to evade mobilization instead. Hackers published a banner with "Crazy old man is going all-in, his bet is our lives!" and "Ukrainians took away in three hours what took us three months. Now (the Kremlin is) mobilizing ‘fresh meat’ to bomb peaceful objects."
