The earliest buttercup

Yesterday's blip photo was of kingcup, a large Spring flowering member of the buttercup family. Although one of the earliest of that family to flower, it isn't the first. Every year, around here at least, that honour goes to the Lesser celandine, pictured here. I was pleased with the morning light on this one by a woodland path through our local park.
