Aysgarth Falls

The rain was coming down in bucket loads as we packed the cars and headed south. We almost gave up on doing anything today. We stopped at a village pub for morning coffee and thankfully, by the time we left, it had stopped raining. We went to Aysgarth Falls, which had plenty of water with all the rain. These are the upper falls. My sister and I also walked to the middle falls. 

We had been so impressed with the pub for our morning coffee, we returned for lunch but then it was time to go our separate ways. After taking mum home I returned over the Pennines, the end of my holiday.
