Devon coastal walk

After a wet start, the sun came out and the sky turned blue. We walked along the coastal path and down to Blackpool Sands and enjoyed a burger and chips at the beach cafe. No ordinary burgers, these; they're very (local) beefy! It's good to be eating again.

I love the intense colours of the grass, gorse and sea at this time of year. On the very left hand edge of the picture you can see the tower of Stoke Fleming church. The wind was quite strong, and cool and steady enough to make my face ache by the time we got home again. That said, some very brave teenage girls were having a dip in the sea while we were eating our lunch. Brrrr. Rather them than me!
