Roxanne

Pleased to report that the resident cat at Le Rostand is doing well. (I photographed Roxanne on an earlier stay in Paris in 2019). She was very friendly today, practically hopping into my lap. I met up with a former student for a drink at Rostand this evening, and it was really lovely to see her and to catch up!

Did a run this morning on ile des Cygnes and in the Parc André Citroen. I bought a bunch of newspapers with leading stories about Annie Ernaux and am still so thrilled about her prize. Also worked, and J found a very cool bike repair shop in Montparnasse that will definitely be able to take care of his wheel. Moules frites for dinner. Bonne nuit!
