Microclimate

I have been impressed with how big my Salvia Amistad has grown this year but then spotted these in a little garden in a newish development near my office in Central London.  Enormous!  London really does have its own microclimate. The garden was full of people having lunch as it’s a sheltered,  pretty place but there was only me looking at the plants.

Up in Town doing more interviews today - very busy again.

I forgot when I got home that V was having dinner in London so I had to cook my own weekday dinner!  Unheard of these days!  I watched a couple of eps of This England, Sky’s epic telling of the Covid years partly through the government’s eyes.  It’s a more serious piece than the critics would have you think but pretty dense.
