Common Sandpiper

Put some breadcrumbs out this morning for the birds. The wind blew it all over the ground much to the delight of the Dunnocks. They were joined by a Robin, a Blackbird, some Sparrows and Chaffinches, a Blackcap and oddly a Sandpiper although it ignored the breadcrumbs and just concentrated on drilling the grass for worms.
