The couch got new shoes today!

Since my surgery, I have been restricted to limited activities in the house. I’ve been very fortunate and blessed to have so much help from family - they’re doing all the heavy lifting and physical cleaning that I can’t.

That being said, I watched as my robot vacuum whirred around the living room the other day. (He’s doing the majority of vacuuming as of late). It bumped along the sides of the couch, being too tall to fit underneath it. But, gosh, wouldn’t I love it if it could go underneath the couch. That’s a spot that’s hard to clean and with the dog, often collects dirt, debris and hair. Yuck.

A quick Amazon search revealed that I could order 4” furniture legs (set of 8) for around $30. Tall enough that the robot vac would have clearance to clean underneath but not so tall that it affects the sitting height of the couch. SOLD! Ordered them up and they arrived today.

Bj is so good to entertain and execute my ideas. He set to work on replacing the feet as soon as he got home from work. The dog was thrilled too - as he found his favorite antler under one side of the sectional.

Set the couches back down and gave the robot vac a test run. Works perfectly.
