Window of opportunity

The weather has not been kind today, lots of rain and a brisk and cold wind. Managed to get out at lunch during a lull but the recent rain is definitely in evidence on the lanes I walk down. 
Another walk this evening with a friend. She isn't keeping well and was keen to get some air. It was raining heavy and dark by the time we got back but definitely enjoyable.
