rain bunting!

I had a lucky few minutes on my own with this little fellaretta.  She's been around for a few days and I hoped the initial buzz of people would have gone and she may still be around.  I was about to lose hope, with a photo of a pigeon ready to go, when who should hop out of the bracken onto the path in front of me?

She didn't care less about people or dogs - it's a very popular area with walkers.
