"Eyes"

Today we shopped for prom dresses. They all looked delightful, too grown up, beautiful, where has my baby granddaughter gone ?? She has grown up so quickly. Today's proms are a far reach from leavers day when I was at school, we signed each others shirts and wished each other good luck in an autograph book !!

Now a leavers prom involves limousines, champagne, photographers, meal out, speeches presentations ... But before that its spray tans, false nails, waxing, hairdos, eyebrow plucking, and that's just the lads lol

It's a great sight, all the young people dressed in their finest, the lads smart, tuxedos, cravats, suits, ties, the girls in ball gowns, tiaras, beautiful hairdos, bright, colourful, all looking much older on the night.

Its a wonderful night, I'll be so glad to be part of it, taking photos, feeling proud, breathing in the excitement, and looking at my beautiful granddaughter and wondering where the years have gone. Roll on prom night :-)
