Chain Bridge

The chain bridge over the Tweed between Melrose and Gattonside. The Tweed is in spate with salmon swimming around.

Abbotsford House this morning where I didn't go inside but walked with one of my pals. Then I walked back to Melrose with two of the others. I've done a good number of steps today.

It's our last night together. I had a minor win on the Premium Bonds this month so I've contributed a decent bottle of fizz. We will toast ourselves and our very long lasting friendship. The idea is to order a takeaway dinner from the Thai restaurant. What a great time we've had.
