Rona, near Raasay

The settlement at Dry Harbour, on Rona, has long since been abandoned, but it really is a stunning spot. This roof-less building is just one of the pieces of evidence that this barren island provided a home to many people, and a livelihood of a kind. Tough living it most certainly was, but a superb spot for a holiday (and/or a spot of archaeological investigation).
