Last hours of the day

A very lovely day. 
At long last we had Alan and Michaela over. They were going to visit on several different days throughout the summer but for a variety of reasons it never happened till today. They arrive about 3 with Jess and Jack and we had an hour or so in the garden till Jennie, Adam and Freckle arrived. I was surprised and pleased that the weather was kind so we got to sit in the sun for a while. 
Had a lovely set of foods and a good laugh. They left about 7.30. Originally they were going to stay but Michaela had something on early tomorrow so they went home. 
Really lovely to see everyone and I feel very grateful that we all get on so well.
