Neither here nor there

I have lived in Edinburgh for a total of 20 years, in two separate tranches. 11 years and then 9. In addition T was born and raised here. I say here because we now live in Cheltenham which is “there”, as I write this on the plane home from EDI to BHX this evening.

My two day work trip has been incredibly successful and it has been super working with the team in person again post Covid at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).

In addition to catching up with former colleagues I also made new connections while also finding time to listen to a fascinating talk from Marc Randolph co founder of Netflix. Sadly I had to forgo listening to a talk from Nicola Benedetti. If I had stayed to hear her talk I would have missed my plane.
