Princes St... Castle... blah...

First of all, I must apologise if I put an annoying song in your head with yesterday's blip. A couple of blippers have put annoying songs in my head today. I'm not going to link to them: if you've already seen them and have annoying songs going round in your head too, there's nothing I can do about it; if you haven't already seen them and don't have annoying songs going round in your head, it's probably better for you if it stays that way :-)

Also, for those of you who, like me, have developed an obsession with Beatles Week, I can report that it continued today. I shall report back if and when it finishes and I shall provide appropriate photographic evidence :-)

Today's blip is a wide angle Princes Street/Castle shot. My usual rationale for liking shots like this is that there's a lot going on... so... I like this shot because there's a lot going on... I don't know how evident it will be from the published pic, but they are flying a massive flag on the Castle these days. If anyone knows why, I'd be interested to know.

One year ago today
It occurred to me recently that it's a year since I've had a proper holiday - by which I mean a holiday that involved going somewhere far away and doing things I don't usually do, or at least seeing things I don't normally see. A year ago today, I was in Arizona. I wasn't blipping then, but if I had been, this would have been my blip.
