Mighty Mount Baker
Mt. Baker is one of the many volcanos in the Cascade Volcanic Arc which stretches 700 miles from B.C. down to California. Baker is over 10000 ft and has a ski area that gets huge amounts of snow. In northern Washington on a clear day it's possible to see Baker, Rainier, Adams, Hood and St. Helens which erupted in the 80's. They are all pretty spectacular as they rise straight up from sea level. We're going to be down on Vancouver Island for the next few days and for once it might not be raining! Yahoo!
