Early Fall Textures

It was a murky morning - the sun didn't come out until early afternoon today. It was a cool day, although really lovely this afternoon. I played golf for the first time in 3 weeks and played better than I've played all season! Go figure. I must have needed a break! It was terrific to see my golfing friend...we had a grand time.

I took an early wander in the garden this morning - the spider webs are so evident now, covered with dew, and in this case maybe even a morning irrigation. I loved the colors and textures in this photo. Sedum growing in a terra cotta pot with Japanese Forest Grass drooping over the edge, and of course a dew laden web.
