The view from the jobsite this morning. I noticed a cruise ship arriving, and there was already another one docked, so I grabbed my camera for some photos,
There is a lawnmower and a snowblower that came with the house. I'm not sure if the snowblower runs, I will have to get someone to have a look at it for me. The lawnmower will start, but it doesn't stay running, possibly it needs new spark plug wires. I do have someone who can fix it. But I really wanted to get the lawn mowed so I put a notice on the next door app. Had one guy answer yesterday, said he could do it, but it would be after dark when he got here. I wanted to be able to show him what I wanted done. Then another young guy answered today, he came over, had a look at it and gave me a price. Then he came back and did a great job, mowed, whipper snipped and used the blower to clean up. I am going to keep his name and number for future reference, if any of my customers are looking for someone to mow their lawn.
A cloudy day, but comfortable for working. Rain in the forecast for tomorrow, the remnants of Hurricane Ian.
One week, and the cats are settling down nicely. Both of them were sleeping in the living room when I came home today, so no more hiding during the day.
