Belts & Braces

Today my camper van had some TLC on its engine. A new cam-belt, water pump, tensioners, crank shaft pulley, timing belt and some oil seals all finished off with the correct timing adjustment. It appears some of the previous work done before I bought it may not have been up to standard, including the fitting of the wrong water pump...

Other parts were showing cracks and were replaced. The difference driving home was very noticeable, especially going up hill. Well worth the trip to meet the mechanic half way to get it done by an expert who made it look all so simple.
