Autumn Shades

Another of my lovely little tagetes. I especially love the autumnal colours.

For months I have watched my pears growing on my miniature pear tree. I think there were five or six. They were almost ready, I checked them every day. What could possibly go wrong? 

We had some very strong winds today, enough to bring the pears down. I was working today so I didn't get out into the garden. Jak did though....

I found the evidence dotted around - a few stems remained. He has had no ill effects from his feast.
