Dirty Knee

Despite using a kneeling pad (and a large plastic table mat for my elbows) I still got a muddy knee.
I am using the excuse that it has been very wet over the last couple of days (the pond is at 'overflow' level).
The flash had to be used because the flower is under a rather large tree Heather.

We had to go over to Bags' this afternoon while she and SIL went to the school for a meeting about yesterday's "Incident".
They got down there and found out that The Cygnet had been involved in a fight today.
It turns out that he didn't start the fight  - but he ended it!
The staff were apparently very nice and know that The Cygnet is a good lad and not one to start trouble. As regards the threat of police by staff yesterday ... that seems to have been 'glossed over'. I suspect that somebody actually looked at the Scottish Government guidelines to teachers to come up with 'the police could become involved for a hate crime' (according to the guidelines using the wrong pronoun for somebody 'could' be construed as a hate crime ...... pushing their luck there).
I had done my research.
It also turns out that there are no guidelines set out for parents so it is all rather one sided.

We had a video chat with No1 son and the wee ones earlier since we haven't spoken for a while. Bunny is just a clone of her sister at that age and sounds exactly the same.
