I have also backblipped Monday's Lovely light ..... hope you will have a look .... thanks to those who already have :-)

A lovely warm day ..... breezy but with the sun popping in & out regularly!

Noticed this Daddy Long Legs (crane fly) on the fence ...... loved the light & shadow ..... hope you like it too :-)

You couldn't make it up!


Went on the bus to town for my flu jab this afternoon ...... should have been there in plenty of time ..... should have!


Reached the level crossing at about 14:55 ...... gates closed & they started shunting a goods train.



They do this most days ..... however today we were still waiting, with the train not having moved, at 15:15! My appointment in town was for 15:20!


We were then told that it would be at least another hour before the gates opened! Apparently the points had malfunctioned!


The driver had to turn round & find an alternative way to get to town. We ended up at the wrong end of town ... of course!



I was very lucky, as after being about 20 minutes late for my appointment but having explained, they still gave me the flu jab!



The crossing remained closed until about 17:00  & I finally managed to get a bus home!



What a performance ..... out of the house for over two & a half hours for something that took only 10 minutes!
