Fishguard ferry?

I need an easier day so a rather uninteresting photo of the ferry,
That said however, a puzzled mind have i!
The ferry port is in Goodwick where i now live.  The ferry is advertised as being in Fishguard. 
The ferry sails from Fishguard (Goodwick)  to Rosslare (Ireland).
I'm not a local (moved from Somerset, my ancestral home) after my brain haemorrhage. 
I'm sure some one will enlighten me
